The Demi-Paradise is a 1943 British comedy film made by Two Cities Films. It stars Laurence Olivier as a Soviet Russian inventor who travels to England to have his revolutionary propeller manufactured, and Penelope Dudley-Ward as the woman who falls in love with him. It was directed by Anthony Asquith and produced by Anatole de Grunwald and Filippo Del Giudice from a screenplay by de Grunwald. The music score was by Nicholas Brodszky and the cinematography by Bernard Knowles. The film was shot at Denham Studios with sets designed by the art director Carmen Dillon.

Dan M. \"Buck\" Brannaman is an American horse trainer and a leading clinician with a philosophy of handling horses based on classical concepts from the vaquero tradition; working with the horse's nature, using an understanding of how horses think and communicate to train the horse to accept humans and work confidently and responsively with them.

The Lower Pleasant Street District is an historic district at 418–426 Main Street and 9–49 Pleasant Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. It encompasses the only surviving row of Victorian-era commercial buildings in downtown Worcester. These buildings were built between 1872 and 1890, and are located along the north side of Pleasant Street, from its corner with Main Street nearly to Chestnut Street. 39 Pleasant Street is the location of Str8Up Entertainment. The most unusual of the six buildings is the Odd Fellows Hall at 9-15 Pleasant Street, which is the only commercial Gothic Revival building left in the city.
